Hanukkah a cappella

Music Direction by John William Trotter

We’re digging deeper than the “Dreidel Song” with this program of music for Hanukkah, aimed at unveiling the traditions and richer meaning of the festival.  We’ll feature stellar works by eight living composers—from heartfelt prayers to jazzy and playful holiday traditions— showcasing the creativity and vitality of the American Jewish musical tradition.
