Program by Matt Greenberg and Deke Sharon / Music Direction by Paul Langford

A new concert co-created and narrated by Deke Sharon, the heralded “Father of Contemporary A Cappella” and music director of “Pitch Perfect,” History of Harmony tells the story of pop vocal harmony from the early 20th century to today. From barbershop quartets through doo-wop and boy bands, these layered musical sounds have permeated our entire culture.

Great for people who…

Loved “Pitch Perfect” and did the cup song challenge
Are intrigued to find out who the Spice Girls of the 1940s were
Can sing along to every song on the radio from the 1970s

Full-length concert program (110 mins including an intermission) recommended for ages 8+, enjoyable for all generations of the family!
