The History of Rock and Soul – with Terri Hemmert

Program created by Patrick Sinozich with Terri Hemmert / Music Direction by Patrick Sinozich

For decades, Radio Hall of Famer Terri Hemmert has taught a college course called “The History of Rock and Soul,” and now we bring it to musical life.  From Louis Jordan and Elvis to Motown, gospel, and R&B, we’ll trace the path of the 20th century’s popular music, with Terri herself as our guide.  Music Director Emeritus Patrick Sinozich returns to contribute clever new arrangements and music direct this fun-filled concert.
