Holidays a cappella 2010 - Chicago a cappella

Program created by Jonathan Miller / Music Direction by Patrick Sinozich

Usher in the season with delight as Chicago a cappella presents a joyous new concert for the holiday season. Chanukah melodies, African-American spirituals, and Christmas music from Spain, Sweden, Latvia, and Greece come to remarkable life in this wide-ranging concert, now a unique local tradition. This year, the group includes brilliant works by Francis Poulenc, Daron Hagen, Matthew Harris, and Chicago composer Wayland Rogers, as well as Franz Biebl’s beloved “Ave Maria,” and Straight No Chaser’s hilarious “Christmas Can-Can.”  Bring your family and friends for a lift to your holidays and inspiration for the year ahead.
