Frequently Asked Questions

2021-22 Ticket Packages

Can I apply my account credit from April 2020 to my ticket package purchase?

Yes!  If you received an account credit from April 2020 (“Swing, Swing, Swing”), you may use that toward a 2021-22 ticket package.  These credits, however, cannot be applied to online orders. Please contact Sara Badger by calling (773) 281-7820×1 or emailing her so she can make sure you are charged correctly.

What safety measures will be in place at concerts?

We are committed to the health and safety of our audiences, singers, and staff. COVID-19 protocols and attendance requirements will be communicated to you prior to your arrival at the event. Details on current protocols can be found here.

Although we will be taking recommended measures to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19, we are unable to completely eliminate all risk of exposure. By attending a Chicago a cappella event, you acknowledge that you accept this risk and will abide by the requirements and restrictions as dictated by Chicago a cappella at the time of the event. You also agree not to attend if you have experienced symptoms of, have tested positive for, or have been in contact with anyone who experienced symptoms or tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days preceding the event.

What are my options if I decide later I am not comfortable attending in person?

If you are unable attend due to COVID symptoms or exposure, or if you feel unsafe attending a live event as the date approaches, please call Sara Badger at (773) 281-7820×1 to discuss exchange or refund options.

What will happen if an event is cancelled?

If an event needs to be cancelled in the upcoming season, you will be contacted by email to determine whether you would like to exchange your tickets, donate them, or receive a refund.

How will I gain access to the online content? Will I receive tickets?

No tickets! We will send you an email for each new virtual program the week of the live virtual events, and as soon as replays become available. The email will include a special link to access the program/content.

What technology/software will be needed to access the online content?

Whatever device(s) you already use to access the internet will give you access to our programs. The special links we provide you in your programming emails will take you directly to the website or other online portal at which you can enjoy the content. (A good speaker or earphones/earbuds is a nice extra, so you can enjoy the music fully.) To participate in our Listening Club you may need to download Zoom (we’ll provide instructions), and you will also want to have a camera and microphone so that you can join the conversation, either via a desktop or laptop computer or a smart phone.

Can I purchase online programs individually?

If you’d rather not subscribe to the entire season, you can purchase single tickets starting October 15, 2021.
