As Rose Petals Open - Chicago a cappella

Program creation and Music Direction by Jonathan Miller

Back by popular demand! As a rose opens, you gradually see the rich, lush, deep texture of the petals. Your ears will get the same experience here. We start with music in only one part—a simple unison—and add one voice part at a time, to duets, trios, and quartets. By the end of the concert we’ll be singing in eight and nine voice parts, rockin’ the house with blockbuster pop and jazz charts by k.d. lang and Paul Simon.
