Virtual Program

2020-21 Virtual Subscriptions

Our 2020-21 Season is going virtual!

After much deliberation, we have decided we must forgo live performances for the time being. The four programs originally planned for this season will be presented in their entirety in 2021-22, and subscriptions and tickets for those concerts will go on sale next year.

We have instead created a virtual subscription for the 2020-21 season to keep you connected to Chicago a cappella, with new musical content and a whole menu of exclusive, newly created programs for you to enjoy as a virtual subscriber. And, if things change and we are able to sing for you live this season, you will have free tickets already booked!

All-Access Subscriptions (Full-Year) are $100. Click here to get yours now!

Virtual Subscriptions Include:

Concert videos

Watch recordings of two full-length concerts, "Holidays a cappella" from 2019 (in December) and "The History of Rock and Soul with Terri Hemmert" from 2016 (in February), each available online for a full month.

Exclusive virtual video series

A series of songs created virtually by Chicago a cappella just for you, with a new song each month—not available on Facebook or other platforms.  You’ll enjoy the wide range of musical genres that you expect from Chicago a cappella, including pop and jazz, classical, contemporary, world music, and more.

Exclusive access to a subscriber-only audio podcast series, Bridging the Gap

This monthly series of audio programs from Chicago a cappella takes you behind the scenes and explores musical—and non-musical—topics related to our music and our artists. Curated and hosted by Creative Consultant Kathryn Kamp and featuring singers, members of our artistic team, and special guests, each episode will include musical performances from past Chicago a cappella concerts, as we create a bridge to the broader community, share some of our favorite songs, and chat with some of our favorite people.

Free access to Listening Club

Enjoy four virtual gatherings with CAC artists, curated by new artistic director John William Trotter, each centering on a different piece of music.  You’ll have the chance to listen to the music and even study the score in advance if you wish, then discuss the piece with singers and others from our artistic team.  We’ll have four different topics, with the first gathering in November.  Think of it as our “a cappella book club”!

Educational Webinars

Free access to educational webinars, including one of our most popular outreach offerings, Joe Labozetta’s vocal percussion workshop.

Exclusive first access to additional content available to the general public.

And, if the world changes and we are able to produce a concert this season, you’ll have guaranteed tickets to any live performance through April 2021!
