Through Argentine Eyes

April 2007

Discover the extraordinary musical riches of Argentina at this special event!  Join us for the Midwest premiere of a major new work, The Wanderer by Ezequiel Viñao, co-commissioned by Chanticleer and Chicago a cappella.  Our special twelve-voice ensemble also performs music by Ginastera, Gustavino, and new CSO composer-in-residence Osvaldo Golijov.  We'll end with traditional Argentine tangos, complete with tango dancers!
