Chicago a cappella Announces 2016/17 Season
**INCLUDES DR. RUTH WESTHEIMER AS GUEST NARRATOR**

Chicago a cappella has officially announced its 2016-17 season to its subscribers and attendees of its final concert.

“Next season is going to be full of favorites, as well as many surprises,” says Artistic Director Jonathan Miller. “We’re welcoming back Anne Heider for Holidays a cappella: Tales and Legends. In the spring, Paul Langford takes us to A Night at the Opera, where you’ll hear everything from traditional arias to Broadway’s Rent. Principal Music Director John William Trotter brings his distinctive musical voice to our other two concerts. Bound for Glory will feature rousing and joyous spirituals and The Birds and the Bees: Songs of Nature and Naughtiness, a clever and lighthearted double entendre. We are particularly proud to welcome guest narrator Dr. Ruth for that concert! There is truly something for everyone this season.”

“Each year, we strive to select pieces that will support our mission to advance the art and appreciation of ensemble singing,” says Executive Director Matthew Greenberg. “We believe this season will delight and inspire our patrons.”
